Job Description

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and enhance user-facing features within the Robinhood app, utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The role involves leading the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, championing engineering best practices, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Build mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose
• Lead product feature lifecycle
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data Scientists
• Champion engineering best practices
• Mentor junior developers

Requirements

• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow, Retrofit, and Room
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and lead projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
