Job Description

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to join their Red Team, focusing on Red Teaming, Adversarial Simulation, and system security. The role involves identifying and mitigating security risks through threat modeling, penetration testing, and collaboration with various teams to build a resilient and secure product.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Offensive Security findings
• Mentor team members
• Utilize threat modeling
• Plan and execute Red Team exercises
• Perform penetration testing and code reviews
• Write tooling for assessments
• Participate in Adversarial Simulations
• Lead Security Incidents
• Publish blog posts and present at conferences

Requirements

• 5+ years of Red Team experience
• Mentoring experience
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for fixing security issues
• Familiarity with network protocols
• Experience with MacOS and Linux
• Experience with cloud providers
• Knowledge of defensive tools
• Deep understanding of Mitre’s ATT&CK Framework
• Strong understanding of access and identity security
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and Javascript
• Ability to research and execute testing plans
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Proficiency in text-based communication and documentation
