Job Description

Robinhood is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and scaling of generative AI chatbot solutions for their customer care team. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, and championing best practices in AI development to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable generative AI solutions
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, PMs, and CX stakeholders
• Experiment with and prototype new capabilities
• Mentor other engineers
• Champion best practices around testing, monitoring, security, and compliance

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in AI/ML, NLP, and chatbot development
• Proven track record of shipping impactful, user-facing solutions
• Experience mentoring and leading engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Deep interest in generative AI advancements
• Familiarity with the financial services industry (Bonus)
