Job Description

Robinhood is seeking a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join their rapidly growing Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities, and is a team player. This role involves preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and analyzing financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month end close and global consolidation
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• Perform intercompany balance reconciliations
• Assist with audit requests
• Research accounting issues and suggest best practices
• Work cross functionally with tax, technical accounting, and business systems teams
• Establish accounting processes for consolidations and transfer pricing
• Streamline data flow and processes
• Assist with system automation projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting (public and/or industry)
• Understanding of GAAP standards
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with process improvement and spreadsheets
• Financial close process experience (preferred)
• Foreign entity accounting and consolidations experience
