Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to improve the efficiency and quality of their open-source and cloud offerings. The role focuses on building automation for critical operational functions to ensure smooth operation at a massive scale, requiring strong technical skills and a background in release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance test automation frameworks
• Develop automated test cases
• Test new features in Production
• Test cross-functional implementations
• Implement new testing strategies for distributed systems
• Evaluate ClickHouse functionality and identify improvements
• Engineer and improve testing infrastructure

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of SQL
• Experience in SDET, Release Engineering, or QA with databases/distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with programming languages (Python, Go, C++)
• Ability to read C++ code
• Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting
• Experience with manual and automation testing
• Collaborative skills, including remote teams
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills
