Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and maintain critical parts of their Data engineering ecosystem, focusing on JVM-based frameworks. The role involves building tools for Data Engineers to leverage ClickHouse's speed and scale, owning the full lifecycle of data framework integrations, and collaborating with the open-source community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical parts of ClickHouse's Data engineering ecosystem
• Own full lifecycle of data framework integrations
• Build tools for Data Engineers
• Collaborate with open-source community and internal teams
• Develop and extend connectors, sinks, or sources for big data processing frameworks

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Experience with Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka Connect, or Beam
• Strong understanding of database fundamentals (SQL, data modeling)
• Proficiency in Java and the JVM ecosystem
• Experience with concurrent programming in Java
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of JDBC and network protocols
