Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the core platform powering HyperDX, an open-source observability platform. The role involves designing backend systems, managing cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and collaborating with the open-source community.

Responsibilities

• Build core platform backend systems and APIs
• Scale deployments and infrastructure using Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
• Define CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices
• Engineer performant and resilient data processing pipelines
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and analytical databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting
