Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team building a platform to integrate Postgres with ClickHouse, focusing on backend services, automation, and developer experience. This is a full-stack role requiring a pragmatic engineer comfortable with complex problems and tangible impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services
• Extend platform control plane
• Contribute to automation and tooling
• Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and product teams
• Develop APIs and integrations
• Improve observability and debugging workflows
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews
• Operate with autonomy

Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering
• Deep understanding of Postgres
• Strong programming in Ruby, Go, or Python
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and automation tools
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Pragmatic and detail-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to contribute across areas
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
