Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and evolve their global revenue accounting function as the company scales. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of revenue reporting, preparing for a potential public offering. The manager will collaborate with various teams to build scalable processes and manage complex revenue arrangements in a dynamic SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of revenue accounting and ensure U.S. GAAP (ASC 606) compliance
• Lead the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process
• Review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment
• Maintain and enhance revenue recognition policies and internal controls
• Oversee deferred revenue and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Collaborate with FP&A and Sales to provide revenue forecasts
• Drive system and process improvements
• Support external audit requirements
• Provide technical accounting guidance

Requirements

• 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in revenue accounting (SaaS/tech)
• CPA required; Big Four experience preferred
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
• Experience with revenue automation tools and ERP systems
• Track record managing revenue close in a high-growth environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
