Semgrep is seeking a Senior Program Analysis Engineer to build user-facing security tools, expand static analysis capabilities, and improve vulnerability detection. The role involves technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with various teams to create impactful security solutions for developers.

Responsibilities

• Improve Semgrep’s analysis capabilities
• Set technical and product direction
• Contribute to the technical roadmap
• Learn from users and build products to keep them secure
• Advise and mentor other engineers

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in program static analysis
• Experience with functional programming languages (OCaml, Haskell, Rust, F# etc.)
• Technical leadership experience
• Passion for shipping quickly and safely
• Excellent communication skills
