Job Description

Capco is seeking a visionary AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation AI systems, focusing on foundation models and agentic AI. This role involves defining the architectural blueprint for enterprise-scale generative AI solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve AI architectural vision and strategy
• Design scalable architectural patterns for GenAI
• Implement robust and secure solution patterns
• Evaluate and integrate foundation models
• Develop strategies for model pre-training and fine-tuning
• Architect and implement agentic AI systems
• Design complex agentic workflows
• Optimize AI model performance with prompt engineering
• Oversee orchestration of AI components
• Design cloud-native infrastructure for AI deployment
• Implement MLOps pipelines
• Stay abreast of AI advancements
• Develop Proofs of Concept
• Mentor junior AI engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Maintain architectural documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture
• 2-3+ years focused on Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Expertise in designing AI architectures
• Profound understanding of foundation models
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools
• Experience with vector databases
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work in the New York office 3 days per week
