Job Description

Capco is seeking a visionary AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation AI systems, focusing on foundation models and agentic AI. This role involves defining the architectural blueprint for enterprise-scale generative AI solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise-wide architectural vision and strategy for Generative AI
• Lead the design of modular, reusable, and scalable architectural patterns
• Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate foundation models
• Architect and implement intelligent agentic AI systems
• Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques
• Design and build cloud-native infrastructure for deploying GenAI models
• Implement robust MLOps pipelines
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI
• Rapidly develop Proofs of Concept
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Articulate complex technical concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software architecture
• 2-3+ years specifically focused on Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Expertise in designing and implementing AI architectures
• Profound understanding of foundation models
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools
• Experience with vector databases
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work in the Charlotte office 3 days per week
