Job Description

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the company’s financial operations. This role partners closely with senior leadership to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and manages the accounting team to support company growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare IFRS compliant financial statements
• Manage external audits
• Maintain and improve internal controls
• Partner with FP&A for budgeting and forecasting
• Provide leadership and development for the accounting team
• Collaborate with department heads

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years as a leader on accounting teams and 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Media, entertainment, or digital content industry experience preferred
• Proven track record of managing audits and internal controls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
