Job Description

Instructure is seeking experienced Account Executives to join their Business & Government Sales Team, focusing on selling Instructure products to new Business and Government accounts and consistently exceeding sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and sell Instructure products to new Business and Government accounts
  • Develop sales strategies to increase pipeline
  • Meet/exceed sales quota
  • Collaborate with customer success team for onboarding
  • Collaborate with sales teams on territory plans
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations
  • Provide education and training about Canvas products
  • Use Salesforce & Clari for documentation and forecasting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience
  • Proven ability to generate sales pipeline
  • Experience with Higher Education, EdTech, or Professional Learning is a plus
  • Experience selling enterprise level software/SaaS
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
  • SPICED, Winning By Design or other Sales methodology training
