Job Description

Instructure is seeking a high-performing Sales Leader to lead the Business & Government Sales team in North America. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and capturing new sales opportunities, developing sales representatives, and managing regional strategy. The position can be remote within the continental U.S. or based in the SLC office.

Responsibilities

  • Define sales strategy and lead initiatives
  • Establish strategic and tactical plans for sales opportunities
  • Mentor and develop a sales team
  • Manage sales pipeline to meet budget and quota
  • Stay updated on industry trends
  • Manage sales team recruitment, training, and evaluation
  • Improve work processes and build customer partnerships
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a front-line leader role
  • Experience as a high-performing sales contributor preferred
  • Experience in team development
  • Knowledge of Education Software, LMS, or related markets a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of sales operations and tools (Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator)
  • History of delivering revenue targets
  • Positive attitude and adaptability
