Instructure is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their K-12 sales team, covering the Midwestern region. The role focuses on selling products to new and existing clients, building relationships, and exceeding sales quotas.
Responsibilities
Sell products to new and/or existing clients
Share new insight to help prospects evaluate solutions
Prepare and tailor messaging for prospective clients
Guide clients through the purchasing process
Accurately forecast performance
Develop sales strategies
Navigate institutions to build relationships
Meet/exceed sales quotas
Partner with salespeople and clients for referrals
Log account information into Salesforce
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education or related field
5+ years of proven sales experience or EdTech experience
Understanding of educational pedagogy and LMS sales
Experience selling enterprise level software/SaaS
Experience selling to C-level executives
Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
