Job Description

Instructure is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their K-12 sales team, covering the Midwestern region. The role focuses on selling products to new and existing clients, building relationships, and exceeding sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Sell products to new and/or existing clients
  • Share new insight to help prospects evaluate solutions
  • Prepare and tailor messaging for prospective clients
  • Guide clients through the purchasing process
  • Accurately forecast performance
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Navigate institutions to build relationships
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas
  • Partner with salespeople and clients for referrals
  • Log account information into Salesforce

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education or related field
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience or EdTech experience
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and LMS sales
  • Experience selling enterprise level software/SaaS
  • Experience selling to C-level executives
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
  • ~25-30% travel
