Job Description

Instructure is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive to focus on K-12 sales within the Northeast region. The role involves hunting for new business, upselling existing accounts, and building relationships with key buyers in school districts to drive revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and related services
  • Hunt for new business and upsell/cross-sell current accounts
  • Share insights to help prospects evaluate solutions
  • Prepare tailored messaging for clients
  • Guide clients through the purchasing process
  • Accurately forecast performance
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Build relationships with key buyers
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas
  • Partner with Regional Directors for referrals
  • Log account information into Salesforce

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience or EdTech experience
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and LMS sales
  • Experience selling enterprise-level software/SaaS
  • Experience selling to C-level executives
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to perform needs analysis and proposal development
  • ~50% travel
