Job Description

Instructure is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their Higher Education sales team, focusing on selling Instructure products to new higher education accounts and exceeding sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and sell Instructure products to new higher education accounts
  • Develop sales strategies to increase pipeline
  • Meet/exceed sales quota
  • Collaborate with customer success team for onboarding
  • Collaborate with sales teams on territory plans
  • Deliver presentations/product demonstrations
  • Provide education and training on Instructure Learning Platform
  • Use Salesforce to document activities and maintain forecast

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience
  • Proven ability to generate sales pipeline
  • Experience working with Higher Education institutions is a plus
  • Experience selling enterprise level software/SaaS
  • Experience selling at all levels
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
