Job Description

Instructure is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive to focus on K-12 sales within the Southeast region. The role involves selling Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and related services, hunting for new business, upselling existing accounts, and building relationships with key buyers in school districts.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and services
  • Hunt for new business and upsell/cross-sell accounts
  • Share insights with prospects
  • Prepare tailored messaging
  • Guide clients through the purchasing process
  • Accurately forecast performance
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Build relationships with key buyers
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas
  • Partner with Regional Directors
  • Log account information into Salesforce

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and edtech SaaS
  • Experience selling enterprise level software and SaaS
  • Experience selling to C-level executives
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
  • ~50% travel
