Job Description

Highspot is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of their cloud-based infrastructure and developer platform. This role focuses on enabling product teams through scalable, secure platform capabilities, abstracting cloud complexity, and driving the adoption of modern infrastructure practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable platform capabilities
• Create and maintain developer-facing tools
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build platform services
• Standardize infrastructure across cloud environments
• Lead incident response and reliability engineering
• Act as a technical mentor
• Define and execute a strategic roadmap

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering
• 5+ years focused on platform engineering or cloud infrastructure
• Proven success designing and operating internal developer platforms in AWS
• Expert-level experience with Kubernetes
• Strong expertise in Terraform, GitOps tools, and CI/CD systems
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and container orchestration
• Familiar with the CNCF landscape
• Passion for developer experience
• Track record of technical leadership
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related discipline
