Job Description

Sumo Logic is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to build and lead a team of SDRs and ADRs. This role focuses on team empowerment, accountability, and driving performance in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a strong mentor with a passion for team growth and success, and is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in the Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities

  • Attract, hire, retain, and develop talent
  • Foster a positive team culture
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings and performance reviews
  • Assist with SDR enablement
  • Review SDR calls and qualification notes
  • Own KPIs and drive team execution
  • Align SDR activities with marketing and sales priorities
  • Develop outbound prospecting strategies
  • Analyze team performance and optimize processes
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation
  • Partner with sales leadership for smooth lead handoff
  • Identify process improvements
  • Provide performance reports

Requirements

  • 2+ years leading SDR teams
  • Experience with recruitment, retention, and performance management
  • Willingness to be in office 3x per week
  • Experience communicating at an executive level
  • Passion for coaching sales talent
  • Understanding of data analysis and metrics
  • Desire for operational rigor
  • Ability to deconstruct challenges and prioritize steps
  • Comfort with SDR prospecting tech stack
