Job Description

As a Partner Sales Manager, you will own partner development opportunities with key Sumo Logic Partners, driving revenue through strategic thinking and a problem-solving mindset. You will be responsible for the overall success of the partnership, including enablement, GTM initiatives, and sales opportunities, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit and operationalize new Partners
  • Build a regional Partner business plan
  • Develop a comprehensive regional Partner map
  • Enable sales and technical cross-training
  • Work with field teams on demand gen initiatives
  • Manage assigned regional Partners to sales goals
  • Manage regular business reviews
  • Work with direct sales teams on Channel opportunities
  • Maintain and report an accurate sales forecast

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ in software Enterprise Sales & Partner development combined
  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software/SaaS to Fortune 1,000 companies
  • 5+ years of experience developing a Partner ecosystem within a SaaS model
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure ecosystem preferred
  • Understanding of logs supporting Security and DevOps Use Cases preferred
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Experience creating and executing Partner business plans
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
  • BA/BS degree required, technical competence preferred
