Job Description

Sumo Logic is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to build and grow revenues in the commercial/mid-enterprise space by mentoring and guiding a sales team. The role focuses on new logo acquisition, customer renewal, and expansion within an assigned geography.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales team of 6-10 AEs
  • Collaborate with technical resources and Inside Sales
  • Provide strategy, planning, and coaching to the sales team
  • Manage regional operations including recruitment, retention, and performance management
  • Work with Finance on P&L and forecasting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and leading enterprise sales teams in SaaS
  • 10+ years of experience in direct and channel sales to enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling complex SaaS offerings to IT Ops/DevOps leaders
  • Industry experience in IT systems, enterprise, or infrastructure management
  • Proven track record of leading teams to exceed quota
  • Strong communication skills
  • Accurate sales forecasting ability
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
