Job Description

PagerDuty is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II to provide excellent customer service, debug integration issues, write custom scripts, and help customers maximize their use of PagerDuty. This role involves escalation support, maintaining customer rapport, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and product support
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, taking escalations
  • Debug and resolve customer requests
  • Set up and document monitoring systems
  • Write custom scripts and integration guides
  • Improve documentation, processes, and knowledge base

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Support Engineering or Technical Support experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, or similar
  • Unix systems and command line proficiency
  • Willingness to work SLA-based coverage hours
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation
