Job Description

PagerDuty is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales development team. This role involves building and qualifying the sales pipeline through modern prospecting techniques, serving as the first point of contact with potential customers, and representing PagerDuty's brand and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Highlight PagerDuty's value and benefits
  • Communicate PagerDuty's business value proposition
  • Adapt to the Command of the Message (COM) selling model
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Research and target accounts
  • Update customer records in SFDC
  • Follow up on commitments
  • Utilize phone, email, video, and social technologies
  • Employ discovery processes to engage with prospects

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for technology
  • 1-2 years of outbound prospecting experience
  • Prior sales development experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gong, DemandBase preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
