Job Description

As a Computer Network Defense Analyst, you will identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against attacks on network infrastructure. The role involves developing mitigations, analyzing data from various sources, and collaborating with government, military, and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential vulnerabilities
• Respond to cyber events
• Defend against network attacks
• Develop network defense mitigations
• Analyze network traffic and system logs
• Collaborate with government and military personnel
• Form hypotheses and analyze data
• Document and share findings

Requirements

• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to author and read technical reports
• Knowledge of Virtual Private Servers, VPNs, and the Diamond Model
• Proficiency in Agency tools (DX, BuffaloBuffalo, CLEARVISION, CVEs, SSVE, VirusTotal)
• Ability to identify intrusions and actors
