Job Description

As a Computer Network Defense Analyst, you will identify vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against attacks across various network environments. The role involves developing mitigations, analyzing data, and sharing insights with stakeholders. It requires expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, and advanced network security.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential vulnerabilities
• Respond to cyber events
• Develop network defense mitigations
• Analyze network traffic and system logs
• Develop signatures to track malicious activity
• Translate analysis into intelligence products
• Characterize infrastructure and TTPs
• Identify and characterize victims of cyber activity

Requirements

• Degree in Network Engineering or related field
• 11+ years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree or 13+ years with an associate degree
• Experience in network/system administration
• FSPoly clearance
• Expertise in identifying malicious cyber activity
• Ability to quickly become a subject matter expert on advanced persistent threat groups
