Job Description

PMG is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to shape the long-term vision for their cloud platform, architect AWS environments, build platform tooling, and champion best practices in CI/CD and reliability. This role involves collaboration with engineering and technical leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Shape cloud platform vision
• Architect and evolve AWS environments
• Design and maintain platform tooling
• Champion CI/CD, reliability, and observability
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies
• Lead cross-functional projects
• Escalation point during incidents
• Mentor senior engineers
• Advocate for infrastructure security

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software/infrastructure/platform engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Deep expertise in AWS
• Proficiency in Terraform
• Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, or Node.js
• Knowledge of Linux systems
• Experience with ECS, ECR
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security
