Job Description

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain security systems and tooling across the infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership to junior team members, with a focus on infrastructure security and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management, firewalls)
• Integrate security tooling across cloud environments
• Implement security controls for cloud infrastructure and containerized environments
• Evaluate and implement new security technologies
• Develop and maintain secure configurations
• Automate security processes
• Conduct security assessments and manage vulnerability programs
• Provide technical leadership and coach junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 7+ years of security engineering experience
• Strong understanding of Threat Modeling Principles
• Experience with Security Incident Response & Risk Management
• Expertise with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
• Proficiency in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, container security, and CI/CD pipeline security
• Proven track record in incident response and threat hunting
• Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, AWS Certified Security Specialty
