Job Description

Platinum Technologies is seeking an experienced Multi Cloud Engineer Architect SME to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The role involves designing and deploying secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments spanning Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid on-premises systems, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting outages and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement multi-cloud solutions
• Lead configuration, integration, and optimization of Microsoft Entra ID and AWS Identity Center
• Develop and enforce IAM governance and Zero Trust Architecture
• Design and implement cross-cloud identity federation and SSO solutions
• Integrate Azure Policy, AWS Service Control Policies, and Terraform/Bicep
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams
• Provide architectural leadership for hybrid cloud connectivity
• Guide cloud adoption and migration strategies
• Create and maintain architectural documentation

Requirements

• BS degree and 12+ years of experience
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing secure Azure solutions
• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Proven expertise with IAM and multi-cloud access management
• Experience integrating Microsoft Entra ID, AWS Identity Center, and Active Directory
• Strong understanding of federated identity protocols
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Bicep
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
