PlusAI is seeking a Research Engineer to develop deep learning models for autonomous driving applications, focusing on perception and scene understanding. The role involves full project ownership from ideation to deployment, research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Bird’s Eye View (BEV) perception models
• Develop Vision Language Models for scene understanding
• Complete project ownership from ideation to deployment
• Research and prototype novel solutions for real-world problems
• Collaborate cross-functionally for real-time efficiency
• Rigorous model development with experiments and evaluation
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS)
• Drive process improvements

Requirements

• MS or PhD in CS, EE, mathematics, statistics or related field
• 3+ years of industry experience in deep learning
• Expertise with Python
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles
• Experience with PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Jax
