Loft Orbital is seeking an experienced Security & Compliance Team Lead to lead and scale the company’s security standings across its commercial product offering, balancing technical leadership with project management. This role involves maintaining and elevating cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance with US and EU government standards, and fostering a culture of security excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a cybersecurity team
• Manage security and vulnerability reports
• Provide technical troubleshooting and serve as a SME
• Manage project tasks and coordinate workload
• Coordinate with stakeholders for compliance
• Drive security improvements and compliance initiatives

Requirements

• Experience managing cybersecurity teams
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and US/EU regulations
• Strong technical background in vulnerability management and incident response
• Ability to run agile ceremonies and manage projects
• Experience with talent management
• Familiarity with stakeholder management
• Excellent communication skills
