Loft Orbital is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Ground Software Solutions team, developing and maintaining custom ground software for customers. The role involves configuring and extending mission control software, delivering custom features, and ensuring smooth operations while also contributing to product improvement and operating spacecraft through SatDevOps training.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Ground Procedures, Configurations and Automation software
• Design and implement non-recurring features within Cockpit
• Work closely with other Solutions teams and Software Product teams
• Troubleshoot software integration issues
• Participate in Satellite Operations and Spacecraft Commissioning

Requirements

• Previous experience as Software Engineer or Satellite Operations Automation
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues
• Experience with Python and Git
• Docker
