Job Description

Loft is seeking an Onboard Software Engineer to design, implement, and refine software for their core products, focusing on services interacting with external physical units like imagers and radios. The role involves code review, testing, collaboration, and contributing to the onboard software architecture, with potential involvement in operating their on-orbit satellite fleet.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine software

Requirements

• 3+ years' software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with Git
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools
• Knowledge of build systems
• Understanding of distributed architecture
• Familiarity with networking protocols and POSIX standards
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications
