Loft Orbital is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Oort team, responsible for building and operating end-to-end features for their central web platform that manages the entire mission lifecycle. The role involves designing APIs, integrating systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver intuitive and reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate end-to-end features across backend services and web frontends
• Design and implement APIs and integrations
• Partner with stakeholders to translate processes into software
• Apply a product mindset to identify and solve user friction

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Docker
• Experience in backend architecture and database interactions
• Experience with modern frontend development
• Experience building secure and performant web applications
• Hands-on experience with space mission technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluency in English
