Via is seeking a General Manager to lead the daily operations of their intermodal transit service. This role involves managing a team, building relationships with partners and the community, and ensuring efficient service delivery in a fast-paced tech environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced operator with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site daily operations
• Prioritize operational issues and provide solutions
• Manage and mentor dispatchers and shift managers
• Develop relationships with drivers, customers, and community leaders
• Liaise with senior management and partners
• Develop and track team metrics
• Prepare reports and analyze data
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Lead and develop an engaged team

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Local to Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco
• Independent self-starter
• Savvy and tactful communicator
• Detail-oriented executor
• Experienced leader with team management experience (3-5 years)
• Flexible and adaptable
• Effective at managing multiple tasks
