Via is seeking a Strategy & Operations Principal to manage an intermodal transit service, focusing on daily operations, team leadership, and relationship building with partners and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment, responsible for optimizing processes and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site daily operations
• Prioritize operational issues and provide solutions
• Manage and mentor dispatchers and shift managers
• Develop relationships with drivers, customers, and community leaders
• Liaise with senior management and external partners
• Develop and track team metrics
• Prepare reports and analyze data
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Lead and develop an engaged team

Requirements

• 6-10 years of operations management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Independent self-starter
• Savvy and tactful communicator
• Detail-oriented executor
• Experienced leader with team management experience (3-5 years)
