Job Description

Via is seeking a Driver Trainer to oversee driver safety programs, lead training sessions, and support market operations to ensure drivers meet high safety and service standards. The role involves conducting audits, analyzing incidents, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and post-incident reviews
• Monitor safety data and identify improvement opportunities
• Lead root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans
• Design and deliver driver training programs
• Evaluate driver performance
• Maintain training documentation
• Conduct field visits
• Partner with operations and compliance teams
• Assist with driver scheduling
• Support reporting and communication

Requirements

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• 3+ years of experience in driver training or operations management
• Proven ability to coach and manage driver teams
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and DOT regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with field work and administrative tasks
• Proficiency with digital tools
