Via is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee driver safety programs, conduct training, and support market operations to ensure drivers meet high safety standards. The role involves incident reviews, audits, data analysis, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post-incident reviews and safety audits
• Monitor safety data and identify improvement opportunities
• Support DOT compliance and recordkeeping
• Lead root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans
• Design and deliver driver training programs
• Evaluate driver performance
• Maintain training documentation
• Conduct field visits
• Foster a culture of safety
• Partner with operations and compliance teams
• Assist with driver scheduling
• Support reporting and communication

Requirements

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• 3+ years of experience in driver training or operations management
• Proven ability to coach and manage driver teams
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and DOT regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort balancing field work with administrative tasks
• Proficiency with digital tools
