Job Description

The Service Supervisor will oversee service operations for The Wave, supervising driver performance, training drivers, supporting riders, de-escalating conflicts, and managing incidents. The role requires flexibility and may involve operating vehicles to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct driver performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement training programs
  • Handle customer service issues
  • Prioritize operational issues
  • Manage accidents and incidents
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Operate lift-equipped vehicles
  • Perform vehicle inspections

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in transportation services with 1+ year supervisory experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 25 years old
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in tablet and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of Mobile, AL
  • Ability to operate wheelchair accessible vehicles
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug test
