Job Description

Via is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead daily operations, address real-time challenges, and improve the rider and driver experience for their public transportation services. This is an in-person role focused on ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation within the Fort Wayne community.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations
• Make real-time decisions regarding fleet, drivers, and riders
• Guide and support drivers
• Improve service based on feedback
• Use data to enhance efficiency
• Act as a bridge between partners, drivers, and Via teams

Requirements

• Experience in people management, logistics, or customer service
• Relationship-oriented with strong communication skills
• Hands-on and proactive problem-solver
• Tactical and strategic thinking
• Mission-driven with a focus on transportation access
• Based in Fort Wayne and able to work onsite 4-5 days per week
