Via is seeking a General Manager to lead the daily operations of a first-of-its-kind intermodal transit service in Rochester, MN. This role involves building and managing a team, developing relationships with partners and the community, and ensuring efficient and compliant service delivery in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site daily operations
• Prioritize operational issues and provide solutions
• Manage and mentor dispatchers and shift managers
• Develop relationships with drivers, customers, and community leaders
• Liaise with senior management and external partners
• Develop and track team metrics
• Prepare reports and analyze data
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Lead and develop an engaged team

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Independent self-starter comfortable with responsibility
• Savvy and tactful communicator
• Desire to foster a customer service culture
• Detail-oriented and action-oriented
• Experienced and exceptional leader
• Flexible and adaptable
• Proven track record of managing and developing teams (3-5 years)
• Effective at managing multiple tasks
