Via is seeking a Director of Public Sector Business Development to lead sales efforts for strategic accounts, focusing on building an inclusive, sustainable, and tech-enabled mobility framework. The role involves identifying opportunities, generating new business, and managing the full sales cycle with a focus on the Central US region.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with prospective partners
  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts
  • Navigate market buying landscape with data-driven business cases
  • Educate clients on regional transit plans and funding mechanisms
  • Champion Via’s mission and technology through marketing and thought leadership

Requirements

  • 10+ years of client-facing experience in Sales, Business Development, or Consulting
  • Experience working with the public sector is preferred
  • Consultative sales process skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Commercial intuition and judgment
  • Self-starter with a growth mentality
  • Team player and mentor
  • Expertise in prospecting and relationship building with senior officials
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%
