Job Description

Axon is seeking a Director of New Ventures, Commercial and Revenue Controllership to integrate newly acquired businesses into their operating model. This role will lead revenue controllership, support post-acquisition integration, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. It requires a blend of technical accounting and operational expertise, partnering with various teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly revenue close for newly acquired businesses
  • Apply global order-to-cash standards
  • Execute post-acquisition integration
  • Partner with Sales, FP&A, Legal, Operations, IT, and Finance
  • Deliver timely and accurate revenue reporting
  • Enhance dashboards and reporting tools
  • Drive transformation and efficiency improvements
  • Drive a robust New Product Introduction (NPI) integration process

Requirements

  • CPA required
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience
  • Public company experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance
  • Proven ability in SaaS recurring revenue, hardware/manufacturing
  • Experience with M&A integration
  • Strong systems fluency (D365, Salesforce, OneStream, HFM, Alteryx)
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strategic operator with analytical and project management skills
