Job Description

Axon is seeking a Director of New Ventures, Commercial and Revenue Controllership to integrate newly acquired businesses into their operating model. This role will lead revenue controllership, support post-acquisition integration, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. It requires a blend of technical accounting and operational expertise, partnering with various teams to ensure strong alignment and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly revenue close for newly acquired businesses
  • Apply global order-to-cash standards to integrate acquired businesses
  • Execute post-acquisition integration
  • Partner with Sales, FP&A, Legal, Operations, IT, and Finance
  • Deliver timely and accurate revenue reporting
  • Enhance dashboards and reporting tools
  • Drive transformation and efficiency improvements using ERP and CRM systems
  • Drive a robust New Product Introduction (NPI) integration process

Requirements

  • CPA required
  • Deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, with a focus on ASC 606
  • Public company experience, including SEC reporting and SOX compliance
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience
  • Proven ability to navigate SaaS recurring revenue, hardware/manufacturing, and complex arrangements
  • Experience supporting NPI
  • Proven experience managing the finance workstream of M&A integration
  • Strong systems fluency - D365, SalesForce, OneStream, HFM, Alteryx
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
