Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead accounting and compliance for Accounts Receivable, Contract Assets, Deferred Revenue, and related reserves. This role focuses on technical accounting, compliance, controls, and reporting, partnering across the business to ensure alignment with U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and compliance for AR, Contract Assets, Deferred Revenue, and reserves
• Design and review reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet flux analyses
• Draft and maintain technical accounting memos
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and internal policies
• Act as primary contact for auditors
• Lead SOX walkthroughs and control ownership
• Drive process documentation and policy refinement
• Partner with Billing/AR Operations and other departments
• Develop AR analytics and KPIs
• Provide executive-ready reporting

Requirements

• CPA required with deep technical accounting knowledge of ASC 326 and ASC 606
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting and public company controllership experience
• Expertise in reconciliations, reserves, and audit support
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Project management skills
• Experience with ERP/CRM implementations
• Data governance and integrity experience
