Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead a team and partner with various departments to oversee complex revenue streams, ensure accurate revenue recognition, build scalable processes, and strengthen internal controls. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and people leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting team
• Review and approve journal entries and control activities
• Perform monthly and quarterly analytic review procedures
• Partner cross-functionally with various departments
• Review technical accounting positions
• Ensure integrity of systems and processes
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Drive process improvements and participate in system initiatives
• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Execute special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 7–10 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, ideally in SaaS
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 606
• Recent experience in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm
• Demonstrated ability to review journal entries and internal controls
• Proven track record of cross-functional partnership
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
