Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead a team and partner with various departments to oversee complex revenue streams, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and build scalable processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, people leadership, and a commitment to compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting team operations
• Review and approve journal entries and controls
• Perform monthly and quarterly analytic reviews
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate contracts and improve processes
• Review technical accounting positions
• Ensure system and process integrity
• Serve as point of contact for auditors
• Drive process improvements and participate in system initiatives
• Prepare and deliver reporting to stakeholders
• Coach and develop team members
• Execute special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 7–10 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, ideally in SaaS
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 606
• Experience in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm
• Proven track record of cross-functional partnership
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
