Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join a collaborative team focused on ensuring accurate revenue and cost of goods sold through analytical procedures. The role involves ownership of key revenue streams, partnering with various departments, and supporting audit activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of order-to-cash cycle
• Own key revenue streams and controls
• Perform monthly/quarterly analytic reviews
• Partner with IT for reporting
• Review accounting treatments with Professional Services
• Prepare internal reports
• Redesign work and help business partners
• Perform SOX internal controls
• Book journal entries
• Support audits
• Assist with special projects

Requirements

• Passion for process improvement and automation
• Experience with Professional Services in a SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting/analysis experience
• Public accounting or revenue experience with a public company preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• ASC 606 compliance knowledge
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Salesforce and RevStream knowledge a plus
