Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to ensure the reliable and consistent manufacturing of life-saving technology. The role involves developing and sustaining manufacturing processes, collaborating with design teams, implementing tooling and traceability systems, and providing technical support on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with Product Design/R&D teams
• Design and implement production tooling
• Lead process characterization and optimization
• Evaluate and integrate manufacturing technologies
• Drive implementation of traceability systems
• Partner with Quality, Product, and Automation Engineering
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
• Provide hands-on technical support
• Manage projects effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Strong foundation in mechanical design and CAD modeling (SolidWorks)
• Practical prototyping skills
• Deep understanding of materials and processes
• Applied knowledge of manufacturing principles
• Experience implementing MES, traceability, or digital manufacturing systems
• Analytical mindset with experience using statistical tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter in a fast-paced environment
